Father, I come to you today to experience refreshment. I’m tired and I’m weary I need you to breathe fresh life into me, renew my mind and refresh my perspective so that I can live with strength and vitality all the days of my life, in Jesus name I pray this now. Amen.

DEAR GOD,

We pray for these wild fires, which destroy hundreds of homes and land every year, causing much damage and loss. This is totally unnecessary, and I know this destruction is not from You.

From the Bible, I understand that all natural calamities come from the Evil One and human mistakes and carelessness, and are not the works of Your hands. Still some blame You, because of lack of knowledge. Because the Bible says in John 10:10, "The Devil comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I come to give life and life more abundantly.

We ask You, Lord to have mercy, and prevent the wildfires from starting. (If they are already started) Bring down much rain until all the fires have been quenched. Give the firefighters Your wisdom to bring the fires under control. Protect them from danger.

You love people and wildlife, and it is not in Your interest to cause unnecessary damage and loss of property. God of mercy, We ask You to hear our prayers, for the benefit of many and our own safety.

We pray this prayer now in the mighty name of your son Jesus Christ's name!
